- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. melted shortening
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Sift flour, sugar and salt together. Add to yeast; add shortening.

3Stir well and roll out on a floured board.

4Cut with a biscuit cutter.

5Let rise 1 hour.

6Bake in a hot 375° oven until brown.
