  • 1 1/2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 large cake compressed yeast
  • 3 Tbsp. melted shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. water (to cool milk to lukewarm)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • flour

Directions

    Mix together until yeast is all dissolved.

    Add flour enough to make dough.

    Roll out after raised once.

    Cut with cutter; put in greased pan and let raise before baking.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
