- 5 to 6 c. flour (save some for rolling, 1/2 c.)
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. instant yeast
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 c. warm water
Directions

1Put all together and mix dough until dough comes away from side of bowl.

2Do in mixer.

3Let rise until double in size.

4Roll out and cut into rolls.

5Let rise again until almost double in size.

6If bubbles form, it was too long.
-
7Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

8Brush with melted butter when removed from oven.
