  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 c. flour

    Mix; then add beaten

    1/2 the flour; add shortening and remaining flour; mix

    well.

    rise for about 3 hours or more.

    Punch down and make into rolls.

    Place rolls on greased pan and let rise again before cooking at 400°.

    Bake until golden brown.
