  • 1 envelope yeast (regular)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. sat
  • 4 c. or more flour (regular)
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. shortening, melted

Directions

    Place yeast in 2 cups warm water and add 1/2 cup sugar, egg, salt, melted shortening (cool) and 4 or more cups of flour.

    Mix and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

    Stir and refrigerate.
