  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening or less
  • 2 c. plain flour

Directions

    Sprinkle yeast over water and let dissolve.

    Add shortening, sugar and flour.

    Mix together.

    Knead and roll and cut out.

    Let rise 20 minutes.

    Bake at 350° until done.
