Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- plain flour to make dough
Directions

1Melt butter and add to scalded milk.

2Next, add sugar and salt.

3Let cool to lukewarm.

4Add beaten eggs, potatoes, yeast and flour.

5You have almost enough flour when it is hard to stir. Turn it out on a board and beat it with your hands.

6Add flour until dough will not stick to board.

7This may be put in a bowl to rise and store in refrigerator for further use.

8If used at once, let dough rise in bowl until double in bulk.

9Roll out, place on baking sheet and let rise again until light.

10Bake at 400° until brown.
