- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 4 c. flour (about)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Add shortening.

3Stir until melted. Add sugar and salt.

4Mix in enough flour to handle.

5Knead 5 minutes.

6Place in greased bowl and let rise until double.

7Mash down.

8Form into rolls.

9Let rise until double.

10Bake at 450° until done.
