- 1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Mix all dry ingredients.

2Mix in another bowl the milk, egg and oil.

3Add milk mixture to cornmeal mixture.

4Mix well.

5Pour into greased baking pan until half full.

6Bake at 425° for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
