- 2 lb. cooked squash
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cornbread stuffing
Directions

1Cook squash, onion, salt and pepper until tender.

2Drain off excess water; add margarine.

3Place in casserole dish:

41 layer of squash, 1 layer of stuffing and 1 layer of cheese.

5Repeat layers. Top with remaining cheese.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
