- 3 lb. yellow squash, sliced
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 c. milk
- 12 saltine crackers, crushed
- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Boil squash, about 8 minutes or until tender; drain well, then mash.

2Stir in margarine, milk and crackers plus cheese and eggs. Season with salt and pepper.

3Transfer mixture to buttered 3-quart baking dish.

4Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
