- 2 lb. fresh firm squash
- 2 small onions
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 3 c. cider vinegar
Directions

1Wash and slice squash in thin slices.

2Peel onions real thin and add to squash.

3Cover onions and squash with water and salt; let stand 2 hours.

4Drain.

5Add celery salt, turmeric and mustard seed.

6Bring to boil.

7Heat 5 minutes.

8Pack in jars.

9Process 15 minutes in a boiling water bath.
