Ingredients
- 7/8 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 4 oz. butter or meat drippings
Directions

1Place flour and salt in bowl and make a well in the center into which pour milk.

2Beat until fluffy.

3Beat eggs lightly.

4Stir into batter.

5Add water and continue beating until mixture light and fluffy.

6Permit to stand for 1 hour (optional).

7Beat it again. Have ready hot oven-proof dish (about 10 x 10-inch) containing about 1/4 inch melted butter or hot beef drippings.

8Pour in batter.

9It should be about 5/8 inch high. Bake the pudding in hot oven, 400°, for about 20 minutes.

10Reduce heat to 350° and bake 10 - 15 minutes longer.
