- 6 Tbsp. salted butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 tsp. coffee liqueur
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.

2In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, heat butter, sugar and water over medium temperature, stirring with a wooden spoon, until sugar dissolves. Cover pan with lid for 2 minutes to wash down any sugar crystals. Uncover pan; increase heat to high.

3Without stirring, continue cooking until golden brown.

4Remove from heat; stir in liqueur and baking soda.

5Pour immediately into baking dish; spread thin with wooden spoon and let cool.
