  • 1 pkg. (250g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. grated lime rind Safeway 3 ct For $1.00 thru 02/09
  • 1 can (4.23oz/120g can) crabmeat, drained and flaked
  • 2 Tbsp. Heinz Chili Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. each: salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers (optional)
  • Ritz Crackers

Directions

    BLEND cream cheese, sour cream and lime rind, in food processor or blender, until smooth.

    SPREAD evenly in bottom of 9-inch (1L/23cm) pie plate.

    Cover and chill until firm.

    COMBINE crab meat, chili sauce, lime juice, chili powder, salt and pepper.

    SPOON over cheese layer.

    SPRINKLE with onions and jalapenos, if desired.

    CHILL until serving time.

    SERVE with crackers.
