  • 1 kg Beef or Horse Meat or Pork or Rabbit
  • 3 pieces Onions
  • 4 pieces Clove
  • 3 pieces Bay Leaves
  • 1.5 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • 1.5 cup Water
  • 2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Apple Syrup
  • 1 slice Peperkoek / Ontbijtkoek

Directions

    Cut the meat, marinated overnight in vinegar with bay leaves, into small cubes.

    Bake in butter.

    Cut the onion into pieces and let it fruit.

    Then add the rest of the ingredients, except the syrup and the gingerbread. Let it simmer in two hours.

    In the end add the syrup and possibly reduce the amount of moisture.

    Before serving, gingerbread can be added, this binds the whole extra.
