Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 4 medium zucchini (1 1/4 lb.)
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1In a large skillet, brown beef and onion over medium heat; drain fat.

2Add tomato sauce and seasonings.

3Bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.

4Slice zucchini crosswise into 1/4-inch slices. In a small bowl, combine cottage cheese and egg.

5In a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan, place half of the zucchini and sprinkle with half of the flour.

6Top with cottage cheese mixture and half of the meat mixture.

7Repeat with zucchini and flour.

8Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and remaining meat.
