Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 lb. zucchini, cut in pieces
  • 2 (28 oz.) canned tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 green peppers, sliced and diced

Directions

    Brown sausage in large pot.

    Add celery and cook 10 minutes. Drain off fat.

    Add remaining ingredients except green peppers. Cover and boil 20 minutes.

    Add green pepper and cook until tender.

    Serve with warm Italian bread.
