- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 (5 oz.) pkg. sliced almonds
- 1 (8 oz.) Hershey milk chocolate bar
- 2 sticks butter
Directions

1In frying pan, combine all ingredients except nuts and chocolate.

2Turn heat to high and stir constantly in 1 direction until mixture begins to thicken and darken (about 10 minutes). Quickly stir in almonds.

3Pour mixture onto greased cookie sheet. Spread evenly with spatula or wooden spoon.

4Break chocolate into pieces on top of mixture. As chocolate melts, spread evenly over toffee mixture. Freeze 1 to 2 hours until hard. Break into pieces while still frozen. Can be stored at room temperature.
