  • 8 c. torn salad greens
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 medium green peppers, chopped
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 c. salad dressing or mayo
  • 1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions

    Place salad greens in the bottom of a 3-quart bowl or 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.

    Top with layers of celery, green peppers, onion and peas.

    Do not toss.

    Combine salad dressing, sour cream and sugar; spread over salad.

    Sprinkle with cheese and bacon; cover and refrigerate overnight.
