Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans
  • 1 (1 lb.) can cut wax beans
  • 1 (1 lb.) can dark red beans (kidney)
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Drain all of the beans. Combine. Add green pepper and onion. Combine sugar, vinegar and salad oil. Bring to a boil.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Pour over vegetables and toss.

    Chill 12 to 24 hours. Toss 2 or 3 times.

    Drain before serving.

    Serves 6 to 8.
