- 1/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast, sugar, milk and warm water.

2Add shortening, salt and flour.

3Let set 20 minutes.

4Flour board; work mixture until firm.

5Form into rolls or loaf.

6Let set 20 minutes, then put in oven and bake until done or brown on top.
