  • 1/2 bushel peppers
  • 1/2 box salt
  • 1/2 bottle garlic powder
  • 1/3 bottle oregano
  • 1 gal. oil

Directions

    Wash peppers; remove stems and ends.

    Cut in rings.

    Sprinkle salt over peppers.

    Let stand overnight.

    Mix well so all the salt is dissolved.

    Drain overnight in large colander (with peppers in a plastic bag with a lot of holes punched in the bottom).
