  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 well beaten eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. each: rum, coconut, butter, lemon and vanilla extracts

Directions

    Cream oleo and shortening with sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs; combine flour and baking powder.

    Add to cream mixture, alternately with milk.

    Stir in flavorings.

    Spoon mixture into 10-inch tube pan and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until tests done.

    Add glaze and leave in pan 10 minutes.
