  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 3 to 4 potatoes, cut in pieces
  • 2 onions
  • 1 pt. tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 c. peas

Directions

    Mix all together except peas.

    Add the peas 15 minutes before serving.

    Bake in a covered casserole for 5 hours at 250°.

    If it looks too dry, add a little water.
