- 1/2 lb medium shrimp, deveined,tail left on
- 2 teaspoons five-spice powder (I use more)
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove minced garlic (I use more)
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
Directions

1Pat shrimp dry and coat them with the 5 spice powder and salt& pepper (on a plate or in a bag).

2Heat oil in a pan at medium high heat.

3Add shrimp, cook stirring until shrimp curl and turn pink, 1-2 minutes .

4Add the garlic and cook another 30 seconds.

5Add the wine and boil until reduced by half and shrimp are opaque, about 1 minute.

6Serve warm.
