- 1 c. warm milk
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- little salt
- 3 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
Directions

1Mix milk, shortening, sugar and salt; add yeast dissolved in water.

2Add flour.

3Let rise in dish 15 minutes.

4Roll out on floured board about 1/2 inch thick.

5Cut with cookie cutter.

6Dip in melted butter and fold in half.

7Let rise 40 minutes.

8Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
