- 2 c. Tomato juice or 1 x 8oz. can tomato sauce + water =2c.
- 1 tsp. Basil
- 1 tsp. Oregano
- 1 tsp. Parsley
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. Uncooked rice
- 1-2 lb. Ground meat, browned and drained
- 1 medium Onion, cut into rings
- 1 Bell pepper, chopped
- 4-6 Carrots, grated
Directions

1Stir together the tomato juice, basil, oregano, parsley and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside. In a 2qt. casserole dish layer the rice, meat, onion rings, bell pepper and carrot.

2Pour the liquid over the top. Sprinkle with grated cheese, cover, bake for about 2 hours at 350°f. 180°c. gas mark 4.
