- 5 or 6 large potatoes, peeled
- 5 or 6 carrots, peeled
- 1/4 c. raw rice (not Minute rice)
- 1 c. tomato soup
- 1 1/2 lb. ground round
- butter or oleo
- 1 medium onion
- 1 can water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1In a greased baking pan: slice potatoes, add salt, pepper and dabs of butter.

2Add sliced carrots.

3Sprinkle with rice.

4Layer chopped onion.

5Fry ground round just until no longer pink and place on top of onions.

6Mix soup and water and pour over the top. Bake at 325° to 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
