Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. warm milk
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Add yeast, shortening, salt and sugar to milk.

2Stir well. Mix in egg and flour.

3Let rise 15 minutes.

4Work down and let rise 15 minutes more.

5Shape into rolls and place in greased pan. Let rise 15 minutes and bake in 400° oven for 15 minutes or until done.

6Grease with butter before taking from the oven.

7This can also be made into a loaf.

8Bake it for 30 minutes.
