- 5 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 1/2 tsp. white corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Mix ingredients in top of double boiler.

2Place over boiling water; beat at medium speed until blended.

3Then go to high speed and mix until it stands in stiff peaks.

4Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla (optional).

5You really need 2 batches of this to ice a 2-layer cake.
