  • 14 cup Wesson Oil
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 8 ounces 7-Up soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring

    Cream butter, oil and sugar.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour and 7-Up; mix well.

    Add flavorings and mix again.

    Pour in greased and floured tube pan.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours (or until cake tests done).
