Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. dry yeast (2 Tbsp.)
  • 1 c. flour (all-purpose or bread)
  • 2/3 c. dry powdered milk
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. soft margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 3 c. flour

Directions

    Stir yeast, flour, milk, sugar and salt together.

    Add margarine and water.

    Mix until smooth.

    Stir in 3 cups flour. Cover and let rise 15 minutes.

    Turn out on floured board; knead until it doesn't stick to hands.

    Pat or roll out to about 3/4-inch thickness.

    Cut with glass or biscuit cutter.

    Put on greased cookie sheet.

    Let rise 15 minutes.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
