  • 1 Acorn Squash
  • 2 tbs butter
  • brown sugar

Directions

    Set oven to 350 degrees.

    Cut squash in half and clean out the insides.

    Into each empty half, add 1tbs butter and brown sugar to taste.

    (If the sides won't stand up straight, cut the nubs off the bottom.)

    Place the halves in a metal or glass baking pan with ~4in sides.

    Cover the bottom of the pan with ~1 inch of water.

    Cover loosely with tinfoil.

    Bake for 45min-1hour, or until squash is soft.

    Scoop squash out of the skin and mix in a bowl to serve.
