Ingredients: 3 Tbsp. cocoa; 1/2 c. boiling water; 1/4 oleo; 2 c. sugar; 4 eggs, separated; 1 tsp. vanilla; 2 1/2 c. cake flour; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1/2 tsp. soda; 1 c. buttermilk; 1 lb. powdered sugar; 2 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa; 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring; 1 stick oleo; 8 oz. cream cheese

3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. boiling water
1/4 oleo
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 lb. powdered sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 stick oleo
8 oz. cream cheese

Combine cocoa and hot water, stirring.

Cool.

Cream oleo and sugar; beat in egg yolks, one at a time.

Blend in vanilla and cocoa mixture.

Sift flour, salt and soda together; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating well.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites; pour mixture into 2 greased and floured pans. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
