- 3 lbs chicken
- 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
- 12 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 12 whole peppercorn
- 3 drops red food coloring
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- to taste oil (for frying)
- 12 can coconut milk
Directions

1Heat 2 Tbsp.

3Add chicken, vinegar, water, salt, bay leaf, peppercorns, food coloring, soy sauce and coconut milk.

4Bring to a boil then simmer for 30 minutes.

5Remove chicken and let cool.

6Heat sauce and reduce liquid until sauce thickened.

7Heat oil and fry chicken pieces until brown on all sides.

8Serve with sauce and steam rice.
