  • 3 lbs fresh yams, peeled and sliced
  • 6 T margarine
  • 1/2 c water
  • 3 T Karo corn syrup
  • 3 T old fashioned brown sugar
  • 4 oz can crushed pineapple, unsweetened

Directions

    In a covered skillet, cook yams in 3 T margarine and water over low heat until tender.

    Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
