Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers/wafers crushed
  • 3/4 cups butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut, shredded (desiccated)
  • 1 x crackers keebler to layer bottom of pan
  • 1/2 cups butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons water hot
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

    In a saucepan, add 3/4 cups butter, brown sugar, milk and coconut flakes and place over medium-high heat.

    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 4 to 8 minutes until it thickens.

    Set aside to cool about 5 minutes.

    Layer bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan with Keebler Club crackers.

    Spread the above mixture over the Keebler Club crackers.

    Place another layer of crackers over the mixture.

    FROSTING:

    Mix the frosting ingredients together (butter, water, powdered sugar and vanilla).

    Spread the frosting evenly over the contents of the pan.

    Store in cool place.
