  • 1 pkt chocolate cake mix prepared as directed
  • 1 pkt cream cheese - (8 ounce) softened
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 c. butterscotch chips - (6 ounce)
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts
  • 1 ct cream cheese frosting - (16 ounce)

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

    Spoon the prepared batter equally into 24 muffin c. which have been lined with paper baking c., filling each c. three-quarters full.

    In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and egg till fluffy.

    Stir in the butterscotch chips and walnuts till well mixed.

    Spoon a heaping tsp.

    Bake for 15 to 20 min, or possibly till a wooden toothpick inserted in the cupcakes comes out clean.
