- 1 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar substitute
- 1/4 cup margarine cold
- 1 each eggs
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
Directions

1Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar replacement.

2Cut in cold margarine as for pie crust.

3Beat egg and evaporated milk together thoroughly; into flour mixture.

4Knead gently on lightly floured board.

5Divide the dough in half; roll each half into a circles.

6Cut them into quarters.

7Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

8Brush tops with milk.

9Bake at 450F (230C).

10for 15 minutes or until done.

11Serve warm scones with butter, jam and tea if desired.
