- 1 c. butter, at room temperature (2 sticks)
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. plus 3 Tbsp. unsifted cake flour
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat oven to 300°.

2Cream butter and sugar until well blended. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.

3Add flour alternately with cream, beginning and ending with flour. Continue beating and add almond extract and vanilla.

4Spray a 10-inch angel food cake pan with Baker's Joy (the baking spray). Spoon in batter.

5Bake at 300° for 1 1/4 hours or until cake is a light golden brown color on top.
