- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. onions
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 c. tomato paste
- 3/4 c. water
Directions

1Saute onion in butter until tender and golden.

2Mix ginger, curry, salt, garlic and tomato paste to water.

3Add to onion mixture.

4Add 2 to 3 pounds of chicken to sauce; simmer until chicken is done.

5Serve over rice.

6Skinless chicken breasts work very well in this recipe.
