All-Bran Rolls

- 2/3 c. Crisco
- 1 c. bran
- 2 beaten eggs
- 5 c. plain flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
Directions

1Mix Crisco, sugar, all-bran and salt.

2Add 1 cup boiling water to mixture.

3Let stand until lukewarm.

4Add 2 well beaten eggs. Put dry yeast in 1 cup lukewarm water.

5Add to mixture.

6Add 5 cups plain flour; gradually knead.

7Shape into rolls.

8Place in greased pan and let rise until double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours.

9Bake at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes.

10This can be kept in refrigerator and used as needed.

11Freezes real well.

12Makes about 3 dozen rolls.
