- 1 medium size alligator
- brown gravy (to cover)
- 2 rabbits (optional)
Directions

1First catch a medium size alligator!

2Skin and cut into small bite size pieces.

3Add enough brown gravy to cover.

4Cook over a kerosene fire for approximately 3 weeks at 325°.

5Salt and pepper to taste.

6This will serve about 300 to 350 people.

7If more are expected, the rabbits may be added.

8But do this only in an emergency, as most people do not like hare in their stew.

9Serve with alligator pear (avocado) salad.
