- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 Tbsp. almond extract
Directions

1Melt butter and sugar.

2Beat in eggs and add flour, salt and almond extract.

3Mix well.

4Line a 10-inch skillet with foil and pour batter over it.

5Top the batter with slivered almonds and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

6Remove foil after cake has cooled.
