Almond Cheese Pine Cone

  • 2 (8 oz. each) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 (5 oz. each) jars pasteurized process cheese spread with pimiento
  • 1/2 lb. Blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 c. minced green onion
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. blanched whole almonds, toasted

    In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat cream cheese, cheese spread and Blue cheese until smooth.

    Stir in green onion and Worcestershire sauce.

    Cover and refrigerate about one hour. Shape cheese mixture to resemble a pine cone.

    Beginning at narrow end of cone, press almonds about 1/4-inch deep into mixture in rows, extending each almond at a slight angle.

    Overlap almonds until pine cone is covered.
