  • 1 lb. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • approximately 5 to 6 c. flour
  • confectioners sugar

    water; add baking soda to remove skin.

    Put in blender a little at a time to chop very

    fine.

    until smooth.

    Add extract and baking powder. Mix flour into batter a little at a time until mixture is easy to work with by hand. Shape into 1 inch balls and flatten into crescent shape.
