Almond Float Fruit Salad

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 can fruit cocktail, peaches or desired fresh fruits such as: grapes, cantaloupes, peaches, melons, lichee
Directions

1Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup water.

2Heat evaporated milk, remaining water and 1/2 cup sugar to just below boiling.

3Add gelatin to hot mixture and stir until completely mixed.

4Cool. Add almond extract.

5Pour into a flat pan and refrigerate.

6When solid, cut into cubes.

7Combine the chilled fruit mixture with syrup and the almond cubes.
