Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh, frozen or home-canned green beans
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds or large pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. oat flour
  • 1/2 c. plain yogurt, sour cream or mashed tofu
  • 1 tsp. garlic-herb seasoning

Directions

    Simmer green beans in salted water to cover for 15 minutes. Saute almonds in 1 tablespoon oil until lightly browned; remove. Add rest of oil to pan.

    Add flour to thicken.

    Stir constantly. Add yogurt.

    Mix until smooth.

    Cook until thickened.

    Add drained beans.

    Add other ingredients.
