- 1 c. almonds, blanched
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 c. cold water
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped dates
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. Clear Jell or Emes plain kosher-jel
Directions

1Whiz almonds in hot water until smooth, approximately 2 minutes.

2Add cold water, lemon juice, dates and salt.

3Whiz until smooth and creamy.

4Measure Clear Jell and have ready to add as quickly as possible while blender is running at high speed.

5Yield: 1 quart.
